Well....stupid me was in a hurry to cut off a bracket for my reservoir install. I damage one og the KDSS hoses. Today the damaged KDSS hose popped as I was driving. Does anyone know what the part number is? Also, how much of a pain (or even possible) to add fluid and bleed to the KDSS system.
I hope this isn't what I think it is but those hoses might only be sold with a new KDSS front cylinder. I'm gonna keep looking but you might also want to consider someone in your area that can repair high pressure hydraulic lines.
it is the lower one of those hoses. I will look on the 4runner forum to see if someone that removed the system would have the hose lying around. Sometimes I wish we have the regular suspension instead of the KDSS.
depending on the flex need, you could take it to a parker store or equivalent, have them cut out the damaged part, crimp on two fittings and put in a union, maybe 30$
you could also use a couple tubes, like brake lines, then have a short hose made and connect it all.
the hydraulic place should be able to look and see what the OEM was for number of wires and hose size.

It looks like I may have found the necessary hoses. There is a member on the 4runner forum that just removed the whole system with no use for it. He is going long travel for some hard core off road. I was planning to remove the hose and take it to a hydraulic hose place and have them remake the middle part. If I could get the 4runner part then it would be remove the old and reinstall the spare part.
a big thank you to everyone and especially Acrad for always contributing to this great forum. Now I have to figure out how much Lexus would charge to refill my system. If you guys happen to be at the Lexus dealer, please ask the service manager how much they could charge so I could compare. Thanks in advance.
