GROM VLINE2 for 2010-13
#181
A FB user I talked to installed the front camera to the GROM unit as a rock crawler cam. He mentioned that it swaps to the camera when sensing the input signal and GROM recommends installing the switch in the power line and flip the switch whenever you want to see the camera
This is the camera he installed.

Sorry, I thought I replied to your post oops.
Yes, I think it is. It takes a bit to get used to and as tech savvy as you are, it shouldn't take long at all. They have been improved the product quite a lot since I bought it and crashes are very rarely happening. Most of the issue I have are usually with apps and Android 8.1 OS.
I don't use Carplay much and when I do, it's wired. I hotspot to my phone almost 100% of the time and don't use BT, in fact, my phone still connects to Lexus BT instead of GROM.
The latest GROM updates has the ability to keep Netflix in the background (as a little In-Picture window) while you change to different sources. Like I can have a video from youtube - I use Vanced Youtube version, no ads - and I can minimize it and launch OBD Fusion and it still play in background in a picture-in-picture small screen at the corner.
Or you can have OBDFusion display all the info and press AM/FM and stlll listen to the radio. Going back to GROM, I just press Audio again.
