Im interested to see what the more basic model looks like. The skidplate in the front tells me they are showing a higher trim with the off-road crowd in mind. Like the Trail master or TRD equivalent what makes up all the Tacoma and 4Runner advert pics.
Looks like the hourglass grill is still there if you take the skidplate shape into account.

Love what has been shown so far.
If it's boxy like a G wagon (at 1/2-1/3 price), with Toyota QDR and a mpg above 20 mpg (which is surely will with a hybrid drivetrain) it'll sell like hot cakes and I might need to eat some hot cake next fall with a 2025 model. I never buy the first model year of any vehicle.

The teaser images though look like the design will be quite nice though.

I'm not worried about any Toyota hybrid or EV system. They've been doing it for so long and they are very meticulous about their design so I have no reservations. The TT V6 has already had issues and the nature of turbo systems itself is a future problem and reliability hit. You just cannot have that much heat under the bonnet (hood) without there being consequences to plastics. Ask BMW and Audi about that. LOL

I’d chose a Toyota turbo over a BMW engine. Former BMW owner, I’d be more worried about timing chains in the B58 or any BMW engine. That is an engine out procedure also (chains are in the back) and they have a horrible track record of failed guides and chains. A turbo failure won’t grenade an entire engine either.
