Due to the bearings issue which I read about, but don't understand I was thinking about the extended warranty through Jerry

I will probably drive 2500 miles a year or less, maybe I can save a chunk by going for the lower mileage option

At that rate you will have only around 15k miles on the GX when the powertrain warranty runs out - which would cover any engine issues for 6 years. Seems unlikely that you would have any major engine issues from 15k to 25kmiles over those last 4 years. Any major issues with the engine will be found by Toyota and if something that leads to early failures will prob get covered by recall etc.

Yeah I am not sure if the extended warranty is worth it

I have an allocation for a black LX that just hit the ground, premium package, if anyone wants it please let me know, I have way way way too many suv allocations and my wife is gonna kill me, I also won another ferrari off BaT and I didn't tell my wife yet...

Some of my complaints so far with the Lexus GX550

• It gets pretty terrible gas mileage, 13mpg, I wish it had a larger fuel tank, ~250mi range
• I wish it had starlink roam instead of att wireless
• I can't figure out how to turn on the massage seats
• I wish the 2nd row was a few inches pushed back, using a rotating car seat is impossible
• I wish it had more leg room for the first row passenger

Other than that I like it a lot
