Just like they described and what I shared here back in 2021. I expect this at Plano HQ on June 1st, maybe debuted on that date or shortly before that, like the 2023 RX last year.
If the nearly vertical A pillar and huge square fender flare is any indication it's going to look a lot like the Defender so I'm not really interested and am glad I got my 2022.
And just like that our GX470's and GX460's just went up in value. LOL
Huh, I am thinking that they will prob drop in value - or rather there will be good deals for the 2023 come Dec for any that have not sold yet. You could be right, but at least where I am, I don't think many of the GX drivers care about V8's. I mean, there are a heck of a lot of F150's driving around down here without V8's.
if it releases with a 4cyl or the turbo 6 that's in the tundra/sequoia, it definitely will increase resale values of 470s/460s which are bulletproof reliability wise. there have been a couple recalls already for that turbo 6 and mpg isn't that much better than the current 8 imo to warrant how much more complicated that motor is.
The V8 is what people love about a GX460 ! As far as what we've seen, the new look might be awesome, but I don't like black cladding around the wheel wells. It cheapens the look on any auto , and they can still look tough without them .

There will probably be a trim level with them body colour.

Maybe - but given that all of the used 2017 and later GX's for sale means that there are a subset of New buyers that don't keep their GX for more than a few years. My hunch is that those people (outside of how it affects the pricing in the used market for deprecation at trade in) don't care about year 10+. Those people might trade in even a year or two earlier to try out the new gen (assuming it appeals to the same demographic). That would lead to an increase in supply of used GX's which could lower the prices on them. But I readily admit that I have no real idea how prices for the 460 will be affected. I just know that when I go to Lakeway for service and see scores of GXs lined up for oil changes that almost none of their owners are on this board talking V8's
