That's understandable administrators. They say it will now be launched in "early 2024", instead of what had first been mentioned 2 years ago as "December 2023" and listed on this sheet back in February, from a dealer meeting.
A supply chain source warned me at Tacoma reveal, that the GX was showing up as January 2024 SOP at Tahara. Perhaps that means, it won't be in dealers until March. HQ source had been saying it was not delayed, but clearly it is. Let's hope that it enters production before December, so that some units will be in dealers by January.
Anyone wants to guess MSRP? I guess start $65K and up to $79K. Two major attractive changes to me are larger size especially wider body and more body rigidity. I resisted the GX for a few years when it first came because it was too narrow, not looking good and prone to rollover. Of course, I tolerated it later and learned to drive a narrow tall truck without problems. Only turn off is the engine. If a V8 is offered it would’ve been a no-brainer and I would happily trade in my 2022 for this.
Hopefully my brother will get the first one of these in the US. He just bought a new LX a few months ago but is first on the list for one of these once they get released--he went through 3 2nd-gen GX's.

Never understood "gotta be the first in the neighborhood" motivation ... but great for those with patience that understand ANY first release is going to have "teething problems" that will be addressed once there is run-time on this new platform.
