I love they are carrying over the nori green pearl color. I'm also interested see the GX-first color "Igconito"... from their other models this appears to be a muted pavement / grey color.

The massaging front seats sold my wife on us getting one next fall...

EXACTLY. I purchased one of the first RCF's that came into the US. Thankfully mine never experienced the fuel pump or the navigation issue....the fuel pump issue left a ton of RCF's stuck in garages until the new fuel pumps arrived.....this was after it took a few months for Lexus to even admit there was an issue. I just purchased a new 23 GX and love it (owned 5) and I think the new GX is going to be awesome. I'll most likely buy a 25 after I feel like it's "safe". Not a huge fan of turbos for my daily driver, but that's the way we're having to go. I'm curious to see how fast the aftermarket jump on the new GX...hopefully much quicker than the previous gens LOL.

^ This. It surprisingly holds the road well. Driven through some tight mountain passes going probably quicker than you should and was surprised how well the cornering manners are.

Just curious if anyone has seen the actual width including mirrors. The stats show 83.22 (+mirrors). Looking at pictures showing the GX from head-on, it seems the way the mirrors are set they do not add much if any to the width of the vehicle.

It looks like you don't have a flat cargo area with the 2nd row laid down. It seems to be a different height, look at picture from rear hatch, which makes it painful to use for sleeping or moving items.

Difference for lowest tow capacity seems to be 22 inch wheels. Maybe lower load capacity for tires????

Default LX600 vs 2024 GX550

I don't see how the LX600 continues to exist for much longer.

I've been harsh on the GX460 styling as someone who was in the market for a Defender because the Defender 90 and 110 are uniquely "short & stocky" à la G-Wagon. It's a very specific design-type and styling, and Lexus definitely had something else in mind when they designed the 550.

Lengths
Defender - 181inches / G-Wagon - 190inches / GX460 - 192inches / GX550 - 197inches / LX600 - 200inches

I completely understand how fans of the OG LandCruiser will think the GX550 is a gift from the heavens. For THAT aesthetic it really is a cool product but it is a completely different product type and driving experience. I can't help but wonder why someone would get the GX550 when you could just get the LX600 with more horsepower (assuming supply issues iron out)???

Working for ToyotaHQ, I could have 100% ordered an LX600 if that's what I wanted, but anyone who has sat in the driver seat of an LX knows just how far that hood sticks out from the driver. It just wasn't pleasant to drive as a daily in the city. Enter GX550... from the angles I saw, it has that exact same long hood length that made the LX600 a pass for me in favor of the GX460. So now we have 2 big expensive offroaders, but one has 60 more horsepower for the same mpg.
