I currently have a 2023 x7 with full leather interior so the luxury comparison (like a cayenne and rr) are not really fair. I am looking at the 2024GX as a fun vehicle to DD for a 2 to 3 years (will see how the hybrid looks once released) and maybe switch to the hybrid if makes sense or keep the 2024 GX for 10 years. I think the GX will hold its value strongly the first couple of years.

Maybe not entirely, but coming from a Discovery 5 HSE Luxury my wife was ready to consider a GX460esque interior that wasn't so out of date. Sadly, taking it out of the 2010's also decontented it quite a bit. Cheap *** choices like no KDSS even available outside of Overtrail also bother me a lot. I'm hoping to see one in person and have our minds changed, but the in person reviews are mixed imo.

Heading to local dealer on Saturday to see what questions they can answer and give guidance on related to the various trim levels and our needs/wants. Also going to ask about delivery timing and what is required to order one. We're officially in the market to replace our 2010 LX 570 as my wife has grown tired of it after 8-9 years of great ownership. If it's not the GX, it'll either be Yukon/Tahoe or Navigator.

Same, if not the GX I'll be the refreshed Tahoe. Was actually in the market for the 2024 Tahoe, but sadly no refresher.

Oh really? I was thinking '24 would be due for a minor refresh on the Tahoe. They came out in '21, so you're 3 full years in at this point on the '23's.

Apparently, there were rumors of being a refresh for the '24 MY, especially with the infotainment system, which was my biggest buying point. There's spy photos of the new infotainment system in the Tahoe, but it seems like they are pushing it back to MY '25. The current infotainment system is so dated.

My cousin's husband just got a 2023 Silverado and I noticed the infotainment looked different. Have to assume Tahoe incorporates that. Interior of the Silverado was very nice - and I think it was the LT trim (not High Country or Z71).

I have gone down the rabbit hole of reading through a couple of Yukon/Tahoe forums. I am becoming concerned about some things I'm reading about with the engine in these 2021-2023's. Having owned Lexus for 20+ years, I've never once been worried about being stranded. I think there are some legit concerns to be considered with the GM engines based on what I'm seeing.

Thanks for the content. This vid along with many of your others sing high praise for a-trac - yet you ripped the LC for having no front locker

They're not "rips", rather food for thought/facts... its up to the buyer to decide what they like or don't like

Default 2024 GX 550 Luxury Walkthrough

Informal walkthrough, but good close-ups of the Luxury grade. Not likely $60K. Probably more like $70K+. Includes rear A/C.

Here some interesting info, check beginning of video, but sounds like Lexus approved lift kits and running boards, that dealer are allowed to install.
