Default '08 GX on Demoda Concerto "22's

Sorry about the low-rez pic...I'll take more over the weekend with a real camera.

Just picked up Demoda Concerto "22's wrapped in Yokohama Parada Spec-X 305/40/22. Since I've only put about 5 miles on them today, 3 of which were on the highway I can't give a review just yet. But I can tell you about my initial reaction... SWEEEEEEEET!!!

Give me a week or so and I'll have more to say...

DSap...

Wow...nice choice....very cool, clean look, especially with the color of your GX.

Please kep me informed about how you like your Yokohama Parada Spec-X tires.

I still have not done anything but the Yoko Parada is still #1 on my list.

After a few more miles I'd like your thoughts on how quiet they are
and how they ride/handle?

Also maybe a picture outdoors that shows the the wheel turned a bit so
you can see the thread but still see the vehicle so one can see how aggressive
the tire looks on the vehicle.

Again....very unique and cool look.....Congrats!

That is beautiful! I put Bridgestone Dueler Alenza 305/40/22 on mine and the ride is awesome...I wonder how the Yokohama compares! Awesome rig and the color complements the wheels and vice versa!

looks great...very clean, classy and sophisticated! good to see classy wheels on a classy car, instead of the run of the mill rubbish big chrome (a la escalade) wonder how the black ones would look on a black gx?

WOW, thank you all for the comments!!!
I chose the Concerto's for precisely what Qx2Gx's comment says... I wanted a look that didn't take away from classiness and sophistication of the GX. I'm not opposed to chrome, I think it looks good on many cars/trucks but I was shooting for more BAM and less Bling! The machined finish and quality of these wheels are great and the price is just right.

Hey Zep, the Yokohama Parada Spec-X tires are great. Honestly I couldn't be happier. Call me crazy but I prefer the ride over the stock tires -- the stock Dunlops are a little too buttery for my liking. The Parada's are super quiet...I haven't noticed any added noise or hum at highway speeds and around town they are very comfortable. Sure I feel a little more of the bumps in the road but nothing that even comes close to being annoying or uncomfortable. Like I said, I couldn't be happier!

For anyone that is considering going to a larger wheel/tire here is a couple things I learned really quickly. You definitely feel the weight difference immediately. Acceleration is slower off the line and braking needs to happen a little earlier than normal. Oh and the MPG...that's taking a (small) dip to the south too!

IMO the great looks make up for anything that you might find to be a negative. My fiance said she'll remind me I said that when I get the bill for new brakes about a year earlier than normal!

I've been out of town and I need a car wash so I'll have more pictures in the next couple days.

Thanks again for all the positive feedback!

David

SWEET!!!! Real nice classy looking ride. looks like a natural beauty.

Are the wheels hubcentric or lugcentric? Any issues with vibration on the highway?

I'm about to just in to Symbolic CV-7's. Silver on chrome. I've been shopping shoes
for months and these are the best I could come up with.

DSap, I was expecting another big wheel thread and pics with out of place looking rims, but your rims looks very nice, it looks like it belongs on the GX. Kind of look like the rims from a Audi A8.
