I pulled my cluster, but had the key in. ???? So now the airbag light won't turn off. How do I clear this to turn it off? I have a 2004 Lexus GX470

Cdew002, are you serious? This isn't English class. Multiple question marks are equivalent to WTH. Do you know what that means?
I would like to turn the airbag light off. So I am wondering how to clear the codes in the car's computer. Is there a non-English Professor on this site to help me find a way to successfully turn this airbag light off considering the cause of pulling the cluster when the key was in the ignition and on?

Is seems that SC400 understood your question, so I hope that helps.

Airbag faults, as you've learned, cannot be cleared w/ battery disconnect on any car.
Unfortunately you'll need to see the dealer or an indy w/ proper Toyota software equipment (or equivalent) for a proper reset. That said, there are a number of DIY tutorials for reseting airbag lights on the web (including Lexus/Toyota) using paperclips and/or improvised wiring harnesses. Whether or not these will work on your MY GX I'm not certain. A Club Lexus or google search on Toyota / Lexus Code 22 error (cluster disconnect w/ ignition active) will yield more info but exercise all due caution as w/ anything found online...
Good luck

It would be safe to go to the dealer and have the codes removed by the scan tool or you could buy the Diagnostic Scan tool of Ebay and have them removed. Once done, ensure then to have the (-) terminal of battery disconnected to 10-15 seconds and then reconnected.
