Cheap alternative to new wheels
My wife's GX470 looks new minus the rims.. the clear coat had started to peel in a few areas. I was looking at refinishing and also potentially swapping out rims. I happened to hear a friend talking about plastidip and thought I'd give it a shot on her rims.. All I can say is wow!!! - I love the way it looks. The awesome thing is that it can be removed. Now as for its durability - that is yet to be seen. Check out a few shots of her rig with it's new look
3 cans of Plastidip and $15 later...

looks awesome... another member did the same with his wheels with lots of pics too, ip with black wheels look good too... i think there was very little disapproval posts but i supported it...
i am so lazy i think i will just leave the wheels on and then put a cutout cardboard in front of brakes and spray away...
