So I'm looking at getting the premium with the mark levison. Here is the pricing:
Invoice: 56024
MSRP 62845
I think this is right. Anyways, how much should I negotiate over invoice for a 2012?
HOw much did you guys pay?

I mentioned in a separate thread that I was offered $55900 on a base 2011 GX460 with options that stickers at $60,089. That may be comparing apples to oranges, as you're looking for a 2012.
I've looked at the Prices Paid and Buying Experiences thread on Edmunds.com and have seen discounts as small as a grand or two, all the way to someone claiming to have received an offer for $10k off MSRP. Assuming that each of the posters are accurately recounting offers received, there appears to be a wide variance in the prices offered for this car.

Depending on supply and demand and also the monthly sales quota of the Stealer you can pay anywhere from invoice to whatever they can squeeze out of you. I special ordered mine in Sept of 2010 (for a 2011 model) and paid invoice. I would think up $1500 over invoice would be exceptable. Look around for any sales promotions.

As far as getting the base to $60k, I don't have the exact options list in front of me, but it included navi, comfort, convenience, preferred accessories, trailer hitch with receiver, exhaust tip and HIDs. Not sure if that's the complete list, but definitely had at least those options.

sounds like your dealer cost is around 59k. So you were about 3k over their cost for a 2012/
do you think shooting for 1500 over their cost for a 2012 is nuts?

It all depends on the area you are in and the Stealer's inventory. I would never pay $3K over invoice. Think about sending an email to all the Stealers you would be willing to take delivery from with the price you are willing to pay ($1500 over invoice). If no one is willing to meet that price then you may have to think about paying more. You may consider special ordering. Some Stealers are more willing give you the better price because you will not be taking a vehicle off the lot that they may be able to get more money for. Just remember it takes months to take delivery. I always buy this way because I will be keeping the vehicle for a long time and I want it with all the options (and color) i want and don't have to pay for options I do not want.
