What time are you guys arriving? If you're arriving late at night, might be a good idea to just make reservations for a rent-a-car. Doesn't cost anything if you dont take it, but at least you'll have something to fall back on.

And yes, forecast is for some rain. Good thing for us, but not for you guys. But, even if you guys go to the beach with an overcast, still use sunscreen.

We get in at 11 AM... and don't check in until 3 I beleive. Maybe renting a car is a good idea.

Ugh @ rain. Is it usually on and off all day or is it like constant overcast? I hope this doesnt mean that the weather isn't "permitting" for snorkeling at the Dolphin Excursion.. if thats the case I'm cancelling the reservations.

Ha ha! I don't think you'll need to worry about bad weather while snorkeling or your other water adventures!

It was very cloudy and overcast this morning at about 6. But its 9:00am and the sun is out in full force. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Sounds like you've never been to Hawaii, man It rains there A LOT! After all it's called "tropical" for a reason! Fear not though, the rain only comes in waves and is warm. You can tell the tourists apart from the locals at the beach because as soon as a little sprinkle starts they are GONE, meanwhile the locals just sit through it. Take advantage of the bus system while you're there! MUCH cheaper than a rental and goes basically everywhere. You'll get plenty of sun! I left a white man and came back a black man... Sort of.

I bet it was more of a red lobster... Sorry if I sound like a broken record, but I just cringe when I see tourists that don't use sunscreen.

Well.. like I said before.. I've gone tanning daily for years now.. and I've been going extra this past week to prep for the rays.. I'll still be wearing sunscreen.. probably just a less protective one.

*I've heard some pretty bad horror stories about sun burns in Hawaii :/

My work filters out most image hosting sites.. so I can't see the pictures. It's ok. I'll be there tomorrow whether the weathers ready for me or not

On a sadder note.. my Dad was admitted to the hospital two nights ago for a broken neck. Please keep him in your prayers as he is the best man I know. Thank you

Can't wait to be in your hood tomorrow. Were so excited!

*edit: Oh ya.. big question.. should either of us bring pants?
