Brake Booster Warranty Recall/Repair notification
I received a voluntary notification from Lexus that our hs250 vehicles may qualify for paid replacement of the brake booster assembly. We have till March 31, 2024 to get this work done.
I think we'll have to take it to the dealer to see if vehicle qualifies (based on codes stored in computer)
edit: I just saw a thread about brake booster repair from april in which this notification is mentioned...interestingly i only received it yesterday.

I got mine last spring, I have an intermittent noise when braking that is probably the brake booster thing. I need to take it to the dealer and hope they replace it.

The US program does not apply in Canada. Different countries, different safety laws. It is not a recall it is an extended service warranty program.
You need to do your own research for Canadian coverage of this issue. Try Lexus of Canada and the Canada government auto safety web site.
https://www.lexus.ca/lexus/en
https://tc.canada.ca/en/road-transpo...hild-car-seats
Also take it to somewherelike a big auto parts store to get it scanned for codes. If you have the codes listed in the US notice, then call your local lexus dealer.
