My 2010 Lexus hs 250h flip up screen started making a weird noise whenever i turn on the car. The noise sounds like the motor is trying to continue opening the screen even when the screen is fully open. It's a much louder noise than when the screen goes up normally. If i put the screen down the noise is still there. It makes this noise when the car is on and only turns off when the car turns off. Anyone else have this issue before or know how to fix it?

I do not think anyone else has posted about having this problem. Welcome to the world of owning an aging vehicle that falls apart bit by bit. It sounds like a sensor that controls the lift and lower motor for the screen has gone bad. However it may be buried in the dash and difficult to access. Or there may be a way to disable the motor and rig it so the screen just stays up all the time.
