Water in the trunk? Check your trunk ventilation ducts
All Toyotas have a cabin air outlets in the rear of the car that allow stale air to exit the car. The Lexus HS 250h has one on either side. The left side accepts exhaust from the HV battery cooling system, while the identical part on the right side is entirely passive. When the materials start to fail these one-way valves can stick open, either allowing vehicle exhaust gases into the cabin, or allowing dirty surface water into the trunk area. These are a common source of water ingress into the trunk in many models of Toyota.
I didn't find any procedure relating to the air vents in my HS250h repair manual. As I learned today however, these parts are incredibly easy to replace.
This is a follow-on from my work replacing the trunk lid support gas struts (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/hs-...l#post11736882)

Well done!
What are the part numbers for the vents and how much do they cost?

The part number is 62940-30150 for both sides. The part is used on about 30 different Toyota models sold in multiple regions, so should be easy to obtain. I paid about $9 for this part to be shipped from Amayama in Japan. (It costs more locally)

eBay has them for about $24 or more each shipped.
