2.5 guys.....that is the new camry motor for 2010..and that is what you will find in the HS250 as well!!

It is late summer/early fall, I believe, and an entry-level price so could be anywhere between ES and RX thereabouts...

If it really is based on the Avensis you guys have some serious work to do spreading the word because pretty much EVERY single article I've read on this car says it's based on the 2010 Prius platform... even wikipedia.

both Prius and Avensis are based on similar platforms, but not the same... I guess what Lexus wanted to say is that suspension is based on one in new Avensis, and yeah, it is quite nice suspension, i been driving for the day today :-).

they dont want to undermine Honda Civic Hybrid Sales, the HCH has an EPA rating of 40/45, respectively. Interestingly enough, the EX sedan model gets approx 36 city, 42 hwy. So I give you this Mike, i think honda could squeeze more out of their hybrids. But you and I both know that the EPA is EXTREMELY conservative on FE ratings, I have personally seen a HCH get over 58 mpg using only mild hypermiling techniques, not far outside the range of normal driving.

it is car similar to Passat, less than Camry... Suspension is nice... as sporty as new Mazda6, but much better ride. Avensis of course.

Avensis has new gen nav, with new graphics (white bg) like on HS and RX, and it looks good... more features too, so everyone will be pleased with that.

Yeah can you comment more on the new gen nav? I saw it on the Prius and wasn't impressed.

it looks more tech, more options, better interface (touchscreen in this case, but more options)... it looks next gen compared to my GS350 Nav. More Expensive.
