Hmm... seems like the HS250h with a drop looks pretty decent.

Well, I just finished going to the car and truck show in my city and saw the HS 250h in person.. I would like to confirm it looks like a corolla... what was Lexus thinking? I think the Prius is better looking.

Here are some recent Internet shots:

It has the same mouse-screen device the new RX does.

This is a car I DEFINITELY want to review, even if I don't get any requests for it. It seems to have a MUCH better dash layout than the Prius does, with its geeky center-mount gauges and quirky controls. I don't like those lower-body flares underneath, though....IMO, they hang down too low.

Not quite as ugly inside and out as a Prius, if that can be viewed as somewhat positive................

The area I circled below really looks cheap. I hope this is something that will be fixed for production. The trim on the pillar along side the driver door is obviously half grey and half black, but it effectively makes the trim on the rear door look out of place and mismatched because of the alignment.

They need to extend the black part up a bit further to make this look right.

Additionally, that rear 3/4 shot above makes me want to grab a trash can. Still struggling with the fact that this car will be wearing a "L". This would have been much better suited as some type of premium Prius or they should have just put this drivetrain into the IS body.

Looks a bit down-market for a Lexus in the US....

But people are speculating that Mercedes will bring the small A and B class cars to the US, no sign yet.........

I still think the car looks great in person. All the lines flow very well and the car doesn't look awkward like it does in pictures. when I first saw the car in pictures before the World Debut in Detroit, I too was a little skeptical at first. Once I saw it on stage in the Riverview Ballroom, it changed my mind.

I will be posting my full gallery of pictures on the HS250h in the next few days. I'm sure it wont change everyone's mind on it, but at least it's a different view of what's already been posted by the other sources.
