HS250h loaner - Screen brightness adjustment?
Hello,
Just got an hs250h loaner for a couple days as the primary car is in for warranty work.
At night, the NAV screen is just superbright (white background/black text) and doesn't go to "night mode." Went through the entire menu and didn't see anywhere to adjust the screen brightness level or to enable "black background/white text" for night driving.
The loaner didn't have the instruction manual, so just wondering if there is a way to adjust the screen brightness? Thanks for anyones input

Though I havent noticed this on the HS per se, it should be the same as other lexus cars. Next to the ODO button, there should be a **** to adjust brightness of the interior background lighting. It is probably turned to the max (full clockwise position). Just dial it back until just before the "click"
This should dim the instrument cluster a bit for nighttime driving as well as the nav brightness should decrease. If you want to make the nav have the black background, then with the headlights on, you have to go into "display" to turn on night mode.

Speaking of lighted controls, it is annoying that the seat memory buttons (on driver side door) and the garage door opener buttons (on the mirror) are not lighted. I understand most people don't use these buttons unless after they come to a stop, but am wondering if I missed any controls/options anywhere that allow these buttons to light up when the rest of the dash is lighted up.
