Question Really dumb qquestion
How does one get traffic information while on (XM) satellite radio? I'm still in the 3 month trial period and it differs from that of the Prius.

There is setting that allows you to enable traffic info. It's either in the SETTINGS menu or in the NAV options.

Hate to say it, but your "navigation owners manual" has all of the answers to your questions.

Real-Time XM Nav Traffic is only available in certain metro areas. Here is the list:
