Scangauge II vs Dash Dyno A-500?
Does anyone have any experience with either of these two devices? any feed back would be appreciated.
Scangauge II is about $170 while the DashSyno is $329+99 for the enhanced sensor package -- so $419 seems bit steep compared to $170 ... but of course it depends on what you're getting for the money and the value that it has to you. Ergo...the question above.

I have a Scangauge II hooked up to my HS. I highly recommend it. It really makes it easier to learn and understand the different "behaviors" of the vehicle. I have the gauges set at Instant MPG, RPM, fWT(coolant temp), and IGN (ignition advance).
I can't comment to the other alternative.

I had the original Scangauge in my 2004 Prius and the Scangauge II in my 2006 RX400h I set it for MPH, RPM, WfT, (Water temp.) and Battery voltage 12V sometimes I change this to MPG. I have it located right up at the windshield on the dash for easy viewing.
