800 mile tank on the horizon!
My HS250h just turned 735 miles on the current tank (my second tank overall) and I知 estimating I have a little more than 2 gallons left since my low fuel warning light hasn稚 come on yet and I知 just barely under シ tank remaining. At this pace I will have to fill it either Friday or Saturday and my goal is to get 850 miles. MFD tank average reads 62.8 mpg, although I知 guessing the actual mpg is between 58-59. I sure wish the MFD were more accurate. A couple of things I want to determine are approx how many gallons the tank really holds and how many gallons are left when the Low Fuel light comes on (I believe the owners manual says 2.1 gal).

LOL, if I could find a route that was downhill in both directions, I'd be in the money. So, your light comes on with about 3 gallons left, good to know. I'd love to still have 3 gallons left on this tank but I don't think that's possible, that'd be asking too much.

The tank is supposed to hold 14.2 gallons, and 11.5 is a guess based on a couple of fillups ago. I would guess there's closer to 2.5 gallons left when the light comes on.

You're right, 14.5 - not sure where I read 14.2. Anyway, I wouldn't take it down below a gallon - my guess is Lexus leaves a gallon or so in there when your "miles left" hits zero. So you have maybe 13.5 usable gallons in a tank. That's still 850 miles the way you drive! Or 470 the way I drive
