I'm starting to notice my tranny not wanting to "let go" as I slow to a stop, to the point that it almost stalls the engine. This isn't the engine shutting itself off - it feels like I forgot to push in the clutch, and the engine is chugging and fighting against the brakes, then finally shuts down a second or two after I stop. Makes me wonder if the tranny is not disengaging properly.
Anyone else notice this? It happens maybe every 5th stop, usually after driving at higher speed and stopping abruptly, like when a light turns red. It doesn't happen at slow speeds, like when I'm pulling into my driveway/garage. I don't think it occurred the first 5k miles.

I definitely get a rough idle at a stop on occasion... I hadn't thought it was tied to the transmission not disengaging properly but that makes sense. It feels like the engine is idling roughly and then having a hard time deciding if it wanted to shut off or not.

Yeah! That sounds like mine. I'm coming from a manual tranny so the sensation reminded me of times when a stepped on the clutch a little late and the engine almost stalled. Maybe it's no big deal, but I was curious if it was just mine, or if I was imagining it
