The tire pressure indicator on the dash (multi-information display)-
( example) 33-32-31-34. My question is: What order is this in: is the 33 the left front- 32 the right front- 31 left rear-34 the right rear? Also in the owner manual - Page 439 - Tire pressure RESET PROCEEDING has anyone done this on HS250? I never saw a reset but I will be looking now.

I've had the same question. I love my HS, but some of the design "decisions" are pretty thoughtless.

Here is what I found : I have the 18" tires.

32 32 33 33
RR LR RF LF

RR= Right Rear
LR= Left Rear
RF= Right Front
FR= Left Front

Also there is a reset button under the dash but I think it just for the flat tire indicator. The 32 and 33 is the manual recommended PSI.

I don't think that could have been a more unintuitive choice of how to order the #'s. Oy.

Remember though that the positions change if you have had your tires rotated.

My understanding is a little bit different on how this works.

The "sequencing" of the tire pressure has to do with the order in which the tps sensors register themselves. I thought I read somewhere that there wasn't a guarantee that the sequencing would always be the same.

I'm a 100% postive because I've seen it with my own eyes. I put air in my tires with the car on so I see the numbers move. The only time the move is when you rotate your tires.

Asked my salesman who has worked at Lexus for years and even he didn't know the answer to this one.

FWIW, the owner's manual (p.173) says: "There is no correlation between the order of the displayed values and the tire positions."

Well, that (i.e. manual reference) definitely settles it then.

Man, I should start reading these manuals. All this time I assumed the order was FL-FR-RL-RR...and i've been assuming the same thing the past 5 yrs for my Nissan quest as well.

Am I to understand this to mean the order displayed will always be the same, i.e. RL RR FL FR, or does mean there is no order at all?

In other words, if my display shows 34 34 30 34, should I know the Front Left tire needs air, or do I have to check each tire to determine which one is low (if it's not visually obvious)?

If the person who wrote the manual is using the term "correlation" like a statistician would use it, then the order in which the values are displayed has no relationship to the position of the tires on the car. In other words, you can't predict which tire pressure belongs to which tire from the values on the multi-information display.
