Fuel consumption in rainy weather
Anyone noticed big drop is mileage when driving in rain?
I've a 16 mile one way commute to my work with around 12 miles on highway at around 70mph and normally I get 37-39 mpg average.
BUT
On a rainy day, I noticed that it drops down drastically to an average 30-32 mpg.

Yep, there's a lot of friction caused by all the rain on the road. Additionally, the harder it rains the more friction on the car itself (like walking in a pool, only not to that extreme).
