I have been reading many of the threads since 2007 and enjoy the tips, opinions and knowledge of so many on this forum. I purchased my wife an 05 Rx back in 07, (used), and in July of this year I traded it in for a new 2010 RX and decided that I would become a registered member.
She and I loved the 05 RX and Love even more the 2010 RX and Lexus's Quality and Cars.

So much, that now I want a Lexus also to drive. I come from 11 Honda Accords in the past 11 years, ( i trade it in every year), and now am interested in the HS250h. I am getting a great deal, Smoky Mica, Nav, Remote, Clear Bra and Glass Break all for 34,995, (car price only).

I know that going from a Honda to this car is a huge upgrade. But now that I won't be putting on 35, 000 miles a year on each accord, I can spoil myself.

I have been reading so many of the reviews out there on the net during my down time. I get mixed reviews......so I figured why not go to those who own one and get their real opinion of the car.

Any thoughts on the HS250h would be greatly appreciated. Your Breif or Long thoughts, please.

Best way to say it,, I paid less than $35k for a loaded Lexus,, it has all the luxuries that I want,, car is super super quiet and the Hybrid part is a bonus to me. We came from the IS chasis.. and the HS is alot roomier, interior looks more special and the navi screen is alot bigger.

Welcome!

My family purchased one last week, a nearly loaded Premium. They love the car. I've driven base/premium's now extensively and it is a car that warms up to you.

1. The driving position is nice, not as low as a car, not as high as a SUV.
2. The remote touch is lovely to use
3. The steering is great, much more Euro than an ES to me.
4. Space is ample for this size car.
5. Acceleration is fine in power mode. Eco made is nearly unbearable to me
6. It gets the advertised MPG. Highway figure isn't really amazing but 35MPG in the city is!
7. We love the optional tech, the front cam, the lane assist, the HUD, etc. I recommend piling the options up if you can, especially since you can get good deals on the car.

Negatives
1. HID not standard, LED expensive special order option
2. Can't get sport pack on premium model
3. Not the best looking car to me.
