Default Rattle

Anybody else hearing a rattle behind the steering wheel of their HS250h? I do in mine every time I drive over rougher pavement. Took it to the dealer who said it came from the steering column. They have applied lubricant and sound insulation. The rattle is now somewhat muffled but still there. Wondering if I take it back or it it's just how the car is. Anyone?

No steering column rattle here. If the work done on your car helped somewhat, it seems like the dealer is on the right track. I'd take it back and have them give it another go.

PS. If anyone needs advice about how to prevent the console lid from rattling in cold weather let me know.

I posted on this forum about a rattle. Mine was coming from what I thought was behind the steering column, but after some investigating found that it is in the rain gutter where the windshield wipers are. There is vertical plastic insert on each side of the car in the gutter, I think it's meant to keep out leaves and other debris. It is fitted very loosely and rattles. I used some superglue and glued it in place. No more rattle.

Went back. Dealer fixed the issue. Was caused by loose wires touching when vehicle was vibrating. Dealer also added more insulation. Got first class service as usual. Their chief mechanic took care of it himself and test drove the car before and after. Really happy now.
