I'd jump on that deal, I'd love the adaptive cruise and other goodies you US folk can get.
As for servicing, we chatted about that in another thread and I don't see a problem getting the car serviced, most of the drivetrain comes from other Toyota/Lexus models and car makers are bound by law to make parts for 7? years after a model is cancelled.

if that car has nav, it probably stickered closer to 48k....and I agree, I think the resale market is going to be strong on this car, precisely for buyers like you (and me too!).

FYI...I pd 28.7 for my car with 19k miles in March. Not a premium model, but with nav and touring pack.

Thanks for the input. That is interesting about the 7 years of parts after a car is discontinued; never heard of that.

Lexus should have kept the HS 250h in the U.S. market. I just picked up a 2010 and it's the perfect size. The HS is larger than the CT and smaller than the ES 300h. The HS size is similar to the Corolla whereas the ES is similar to the Camry/Avalon.

Curious to see if the 2HS will debut in Japan, the HS is alive and well in Japan...

I have a similar feeling. I had the CT and loved it but was a tad small. Traded it for the IS - perfect size but I got tired of the 20 MPG / 91 octane combo. ES is a little big and styled more conservatively. HS it was and despite the criticism of the generic "Corolla" styling, to my eyes, it's not and has a sporty flair.
