Knocking Sound while Turning

Knocking Sound while Turning
I have a 2010 HS250H and when I am turning to the left from either a stop or very slow speed, I hear a knocking sound. It does not happen all of the time, but it has been happening ever since I bought the car. I have taken it into the dealer twice and of course we were only able to replicate the sound once. They have looked through everything and can not seem to find any problems. Is anyone out there experiencing the same thing?

Hi, I have exacly the same issue on my HS. Lexus (Victoria BC) techs have driven the car around and they cannot seem to re-create however with me it is every slow turn, especially after/during braking. On the replacement cars I have had while servicing mine, they did not have the issue.
I am considering paying for a inpection by BCAA (British Columbia Auto Assoc) to see if they can find it.
Anyone had a solution to this?

Have Lexus check your turn signal. Mine had similar issue and it turned out the clicking noise was due to a bad switch inside the turn signal. Try to always turn on the signal before you make the turn to reproduce the issue.

Knocking Sound
I have had that problem twice. The first time the steering column was replaced. The problem when away for a few months. Just last week I took it in again for the same issue. I would not let them give the car back to me until they found out what the issue was and corrected it. They replaced the steering column again and the issue seems to be gone. We will see.

Knocking Sound while Turning
I am taking my car to the dealer tomorrow and I will take a copy of the posts. I have had this problem on my Highlander also and the dealers just do not hear the sound or feel the "clunk" noise. It may be a Toyota related problem as I had a Camry 2004 that had the same problem and needed a joint replaced.
