Default Why the beef with the headlights?

I took my first somewhat long road trip today, and coming home on some very dark roads, I had absolutely no issues with the headlights. HIDs would be nice but I didn't see where the regular ones were lacking.

To me, they are more than adequate. However, coming from an RX with HID's, it makes them seem less so.

From all I've read, the HS has one of the best Halogen projectors, but I think most people are just upset that a very upscale car has that instead of HID or LED standard.

I agree with TonyHS , I was surprised to find out it wasn't standard . I feel like the low beams are pretty good but the high beams could do some work. Anyone ever used any of the high dollar after market light , like the silvers or others. Heard they burn out quick but look nice.

I've used 2 sets of SilverStar on my Prius, the first set seemd to have burned out about about 1 year, I put in a second set but did not use them long enough..

I thought I saw somewhere that someone has put HID's in the projector and it kept the same cutoff and improved output. I'll have to look for that.
