Just hit a pothole last night and got a flat tire. I still have the original tire at about 20K. I just checked and it seemed there is still plenty left on the tire. Should I go ahead replace all four tires or the front two? I mostly use the car for local commuting 13 miles one way.

I wouldnt replace all 4. i would just replace the 1.
the only problem here is that if you replace just 1, youll have to replace just 1 later (not a big problem, imho.)
so if youd like to keep things more equal, you can replace 2. and if you have the money, replace all 4.
just make sure you keep the tires to use as spares later.

Agreed. with 20k, you've worn at least half off the tire, so a new one would be larger diameter and your handling would suffer. Plus if it's on the front, you would constantly tax your differential.
If you do replace 2 instead of 4, make sure you tell whoever does your tire rotations to only rotate front-back, so that those new tires stay paired up on the same axle.
