Would I be happy with HS coming from 2008 Prius?

Depends what makes you happy :-) I haven't come from a Prius, but having been in both, I can say the HS gets worse gas mileage (I get 36), is a bit faster, handles more like a sport sedan, and is quieter at highway speeds. It's also more luxurious, more expensive to maintain, and is less practical (small trunk, no folding rear seats). Unfortunately, it looks enough like a hybrid that you'll still get the "Prius treatment" from other drivers :-(

The pursuit of F
I have driven a Prius and owned a CT.
HS is much smoother and quieter than both. I value this a lot, but fuel economy is about 35-36 mpg far less than the 48-50 MPGs I was getting with my CT, but almost double the IS I traded it in for (~18 MPG same city commute/driving).

I concur with Magellan55 and corradoMR2 as well. You get luxury with the HS, a bit more power since it has a bigger motor and now more so the uniqueness since it's been discontinued everywhere else except in Japan where it currently sells the 2016 HS 250h. I wish Lexus still sells the HS with the current spindle grill here in the U.S. and Canada.
