everytime where ECO comes on, if the car was at a stop the engine rumbles a little bit, is this the engine turning on or could it be something else? its only when I am driving from a full stop and the ECO was off.

Probably just normal engine start-up noise. Check your oil level. They get noisier when the oil level drops over a pint. Wait until the car has been off 10 minutes and is parked on a flat surface when checking the oil level.

Also are you putting it into ECO mode or are you referring to the ECO light that appears when the computer thinks you are driving in an economical manner?

How long have you had the HS250h? It takes a while to get used to the strange hybrid noises and all the engine start & stop noise etc.

yes its the ECO light that appears when the computer thinks. I notice the a tiny slight rumble like the engine is starting again? I only had it for less the a month and its my first hybrid

It is just the engine starting. You will get used to it, like all the noises it makes when you get in the car and after you shut it off.
