Default Loss of Power

my son has a 2010 HS in condition we thought @148k miles and today he suddenly loss power and gears were acting up, does that sound like a potential slipped transmission? fuel mixture?? it's at Toyota now

There was a recall to replace the 2010 transmissions. I am not sure if it is still effective. Ask if yours was replaced.
However it is a simple one speed transmission and your problem is likely something else related to the hybrid system.
Let us know what they find.

you were absolutely correct hybrid system went out, son doesent' want another car and chooses to pay for it about $5300 and there was a transmission issue as well!

well, Toyota finally got done with the car, turns out there were loose bolts on the transmission, total cost $639.08

Was it related to the recall? Had the transmission been replaced under the recall?
Were these transmission mount bolts? Can you post your repair work sheet?
