Bought one several weeks ago. Hangs a bit lower than I'd like, but works well enough for our bike rack. Pics in another thread, can't find them now but they appear in the drawtite thread on here somewhere.

What is the new part number for the activity mount that does not require exhaust to be dropped. I could not find it. Thanks.

They do work but we never use them. Have set them off once in a while when swinging the step around, it is called Twistep.

That is the drawtite model that hangs down too low. I thought there was a newer OEM activity mount (1-1/4"). Bummer. The OEM mount is small and discrete and works for bike racks.

Default has anyone tried this harness?

Amazon.com: MECMO 4 Pin Trailer Wiring Harness 56434 for 2019-2024 Toyota RAV4 & RAV4 Prime Hybrid, Plug-in Simple Custom-Fit T-Connector 4-Pole Flat Trailer Light Connector, Trailer Hitch Wiring for Toyota RAV4 : Automotive Amazon.com: MECMO 4 Pin Trailer Wiring Harness 56434 for 2019-2024 Toyota RAV4 & RAV4 Prime Hybrid, Plug-in Simple Custom-Fit T-Connector 4-Pole Flat Trailer Light Connector, Trailer Hitch Wiring for Toyota RAV4 : Automotive
It's reasonably priced and unlike Tekonsha seems to work for RAV4 without modifications
Tried to ask on Amazon but no answers yet
Thank you

I know that it is hard to fathom but, it is true, nevertheless. I ended up using one of the wiring harnesses that use the crimp on connectors as I was unable to find one that was plug and play. It worked fine and I returned the RAV4 harness to Amazon. Why Toyota and Lexus use different plugs in the tail light area is a little puzzling.

This one did not work:

This one worked fine:

Wow, thank you, yes I'm trying to figure it for 2024 NX350h
That is so strange. The most sophisticated hybrid drive in the market combined with a stone age technology, basically asking to piggy back into the tail light wires. Is that common for Lexus?
For my 2003 and 2023 MDX it's a single plug, like this was actually engineered for towing harness.

I had the same experience with my wife's 2017 RDX. The harness was a simple plug and play, as there was an existing receptacle in the rear.
