It's nice to see the 500hs getting delivered. My timeline is very similar to DRGibbons' so that gave me hope!
Mine was supposedly built 3/3/2023 and is still stuck in transit. The dealership doesn't seem to know where it is after it was "processed" at "port" early April. Hopefully I get to join the family soon! Coming from the BMW family, the purchasing experience has not been the best with Lexus to say the least.

Last I did was 2019. I admit that I have not purchased a new vehicle since COVID. A friend of mine just got his 2024 X5 40i delivered last week and the tracking portal worked without a hitch, maybe he got lucky.

And most of the Lexus orders/deliveries/sales/etc go off without a hitch too. Also my friend is having problems with the BMW version of Digitial Key, similar to what's reported here for Lexus.

I feel your pain. Ive waiting three weeks for our 500H back in December. Was expecting it to come over two month but I guess lucky?! Hoping your RX will come very soon!

BMW ordering and allocation process is far better than Lexus. Lexus has no allocation strategy to match customer orders to dealer deliveries. I have just spent two weeks on this exact thing with Lexus USA, the inability of them to deliver a car in my color combination to a dealer as they instead send the car I want, to other dealers. Next week I am asking for my deposit back.

Maybe complaining to Lexus USA did have an effect - I got the call today and the build sheet for my car, should have it by 6/15.

I am seeing more and more 500h in Seattle area and took a road trip (awesome experience btw at 33mpg most eco mode and sport at passing) to Oregon coast and seen a couple there as well. So yes I think more and more 500h are rolling out.

Getting an Ion coating on the paint and PPF coating best investment to add for vehicle. Cleaning is easy and it will retain a nice shine over factory paint. Not to mention peace of mind having protection from flying rocks and other debris on highway.
