Default OBD2 Trouble Codes

I have a bluedriver OBD2 scanner. Running it on my RX500 results in 28 trouble codes, which is a little worrisome. Everything from telematics to entry and start to main body and ABS. I am wondering if this could be a result of the scanner itself perhaps not having the RX500 in its database (though it claims to know the car), or if I actually have a car with a bunch of problems. Anyone else run an OBD2 scan? Thanks!!

Did you reset them and see if they come back? They could be historical codes that popped up during build and PDI that weren't reset during PDI.

If they don't come back then your good. Looking through your pdf though, I'd say the scanner may need updates for the car. Too many no description available and it may not be communicating with modules correctly.

This sounds like what they call an “incidentaloma” in medicine. Looking for stuff that perhaps shouldn’t be looked for.

Did you have CEL or something on that made you scan it?

Completely agree, but have to admit waiting for my car to come in it drives you crazy.

Once I get it taking vacation from these forums.

No reason, have OBD scanner, have car, figured why not lol. I think that BlueDriver has not updated its compatibility. Their website lists no cars after model year 2021.
