NX350H fuel consumption

Have had a week with my 2024 NX350h. Not really trying and getting 43.1 mpg, very happy with this. Granted I haven't really taken any extended highway trips. I do miss my 2018 Audi SQ5 handling and acceleration but don't miss the 17-19 mpg I use to get in the city. Also hated the stop start on the Audi. You can't really feel the engine stopping and starting on the NX.
Wow, the way I drive I am getting 35-6 MPG in city. On the other hand my wife's gets 40+ city. I should take it easy on the pedal. Took a 400 miles trip after picking it up from Los Angeles to the bay area, average speed 75-80MPH and got almost 38MPG.
Anyway, it beats her old 08 RX350 AWD, short trip city we are getting 15MPG....my teenage son inherited this gas guzzler as his first vehicle

I feel that moving from Montreal to Edmonton has a lot to do with it. Edmonton roads are more conducive to fuel-efficient driving. Fewer stop signs, flatter roads, right on red etc...

Fuel economy is fantastic! And no range anxiety like in an EV😜

Currently a full tank of gas takes me at least 800km. I've got the bars on my fuel gauge now having done 659km since fill up and the range displaying 229kms to go. I'm wondering if I should try to stretch it to 900km on a tank!😁😜
When I drive into the office in Vancouver, I average 4.7-5.0L/100km cause it's Highway and there's so much stop-and-go traffic. I even did a short 6km trip yesterday where I averaged 3.3L/100km. Now that is impressive!
I guess I have suburban living to thank for that

What MPG do you usually get? I found there is a huge difference in fuel consumption with or without patience when driving it. When I drive freely without attention to whether it's in eco mode or ev mode, I usually get 6.x to 7.x l/100km. Then I'm upset and try a soft start and more coasting, and I choose small roads where I can drive more slowly like around 40-50km/h, and 30 ish near schools. And I got 4.6 l/100km, which is 51 MPG! This car really is training me how to drive, a little bit more patience and time on the road meaning a lot of money in return!

My gauge is showing 6.2L/100km and I have just over 36,000km since March of last year. During the summer months, I could get about 840km per tanks as per the estimate from the dash, but in the winter months here in Calgary, my estimates dropped to 630-650.

Mine just dropped to 6.4 L/100 KM. (~36.8 MPG) with 4500 KMs (~2700 miles) on the clock. Mixed highway/city. Pretty happy with that. Not looking forward to next month when our duffus government mandated "clean fuel standard" forces 15% ethanol in the fuel. Mileage will likely take a hit.

Wow, I have a lead foot compared to you guys. I'm averaging 6.3L/100KM / 37MPG. 70% highway and local. that said, I'm also driving it like a normal car, not trying to keep myself within EV ranges at all time.
I find acceleration off the line a bit slow if i stay in EV only.

Green Car Report from about a week ago. It says run the NX350h in Eco. That's it. The car knows what to do from there. I posted a portion of the article somewhere on this site--sorry--I'm headed out in a hurry now and will be home most of the day so can't point you to it. Maybe it's even on this thread.

My commute into the office is about 78km (~48.5 miles) with 62km being Highway one way or 60km (~37.3 miles) with 58km being Highway, depending on which office I chose to work from.
On the drive in, which is in the mornings with a higher volume of traffic, I usually am at around 5L/100km (47mpg), though I do use adaptive cruise control and the best I did was 4.8L/100km (49mpg). On the drive back with less traffic, I'm usually around 5.6L/100km (42mpg).
Personally, I find that, once you go beyond 110km/hr (~65mph) speeds, efficiency decreases and fuel consumption increases. Personally, I find the sweet spot is 105km/hr.
The NX is not built for drag racing😜🤣
