Default Life expectancy of the batterie(s) in a 2014 ES300h

My apologies if this has been answered before, but I'm not prepared to wade through 175 pages of this forum.
How long can I expect to continue driving my 2014 before I have to start worrying about either the main or the start battery dying?
I bought this car from a dealer in April 2015. It had 21, 400 miles on it. It now has just a bit over 52,000.
I live near Atlanta, so the car hasn't been subjected to extreme temperature swings, and it is always garaged.
As you can see, it took me 8 years to put 30K miles on it.
The batteries haven't given me any problems, and I really don't know if there is a way to predict any impending failures.
Has anyone had any battery failures, or an opinion on when to replace either one?
I called the dealer and was routed through many phone tag cycles, so I'm not even sure if I spoke to sales or service.
The guy told me that the main battery can last between 15 and 20 years. No opinion on the one in the trunk.
15 to 20 sounds good to me. Do you agree?
Thanks.

Had a 2010 Lexus hybrid and drove conservatively. The battery was still going strong up until I was in an accident in 2022. Did replace the start battery after typical lifespan of around 4-5 years.

Your 12 volt battery could fail any time between now and in the next few years. The day a bunch of random warning lights appear on your dash is a good sign the 12V battery is gone as all of those sensors are very sensitive to low voltage. Or be preemptive and get the 12V battery tested once a year now that it is 9 years old.
On my 2011 Lexus HS250h hybrid the 12V battery lasted 8 years but I had a lot more miles. I had to get the replacement from the dealer due to the odd size etc. I don't know if there are aftermarket replacements for the 2014 EX300h.

The hybrid battery can last a very very long time. It helps to perform some maintenance on the cooling system ductwork to help keep it cool. Clean or replace the filter which should be in the back seat area below the seat cushion or somewhere on the side. Check the ductwork for dust or hair etc buildup. The ductwork and fan can be cleaned. There are youtube videos.

FYI the search feature works very well and you would not have to read hundreds of responses, well maybe dozens. Try the term hybrid or battery, or hybrid AND battery. Or "hybrid battery"

That nobody knows. The hybrid batteries should last longer than before because because of the better cooling system and better management.

After reading a lot of prius forum stories and service histories, including battery failures, the ball park figure is 10 years and about 150000 miles after which the car is running borrowed time.
But as with anything else, the way the battery is used determined its longevity, e.g. charge discharge rates, temperatures, cleaning of battery filter, etc.

To me, thus, a hybrid that is 10 yrs old is a gamble, and the 8 y.o. one is still a gamble with better odds it will last for a bit.

Also lithium ion vs nickel metal hydride, have different life spans and optimal conditions for longevity. You can read more about batteries on www.batteryuniversity.com
