Default 2023 NX450h+

When I shift gears to the TX hybrid mode and it's as charging it. Gets a loud roar from the accelerator I don't know if this is normal or not, but it really sounds like a hot rod.

The 2.5 is quite a noisy engine. I pretty much never use the engine to charge the battery and can't figure out what that mode is for, really. In almost any real world scenario it's going to be much more expensive than charging from the grid or just using the car as a hybrid until you can.

I don't know if I would describe the 2.5 as a "hot rod" noise =). But it can get quite loud above 3K RPMs.

2.5 is pretty coarse. The only thing it is good for is heating the cabin in the winter.

Default Mileage in charging mode

Hello
Does anyone know where the mileage in charging mode is posted? I took a ride in charging and got 20L/100kilometres which is WAY more than other modes. Just wondering if that is what I should expect.

Charging mode burns a ton of gas as you have found out. Don't use it
