Have a question regarding the "smallish" gas tank on this vehicle. I'm in Canada and currently commute (primarily highway) 142km per day. How have folks found the gas milage. I currently have a 2015 Venza Limited and I'm filling up at least 2X per week. I prefer the size of the NX and feel it meets the sweet spot as compared to its bigger brother the RX 350h.

I'm in Canada also and do have a bit of a highway commute when I go into the office (thankfully I mostly work remote) of about the same as yours round trip.

In my experience, with that committee distance, you'd fill up once a week. Maybe more depending on how much the traffic you get is. I average 800-900 km on each tank, slightly less in the winter at around 700km.

But that's still decent for a car of this size with these features and capabilities.

I have gotten 4.8L/100km once or twice going in to the office but I'm mostly around the 5-5.3L/100km which is still excellent.

Your NX is going to do way better than your Venza ever did.
