Default F Sport accelerating on its own

Hi Everyone.....New member here. We have a 2023 RX 500H F Sport. Has anyone received a fix for the unintended acceleration issues noted above. My wife's car just did this last week. The car is currently at the dealer. Any insight would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Were your floor mats properly secured?

I see that the floor mats are still a caution and are listed as a check in EVERY service. Lexus/Toyota are still sensitive to the Runaway Acceleration issues they faced 2 decades ago.

Yeah, we were warned to not use floormats that don't latch in to the OEM locking points.

Definitely need more information from the OP if insights are wanted.

Remind the driver that a two second push on the “START” button will turn the engine off and there is always putting the vehicle in neutral. I heard stories where people’s Lexus was going at high speeds for long periods of times due to uncontrolled acceleration. Ridiculous!
