Well, pulled the trigger and purchased a 2010 rx450h. 150k miles, spotless, always maintained at lexus dealer. All seems good so far. I at one time had a Prius, so I have a pretty good idea how the systems work.
How long can I expect the traction battery to last ? What are your experiences ? Is there a way to check the traction battery condition.? Jon

Congratulations.
Isn't it a bit late to worry about battery health? It is going to rob of the joy of ownership. Deal with it when it surfaces up and for now just make sure you use the vehicle at least once a week.

Salim, I am disappointed in your reply. I have followed your myriad replies over the years and you are knowledgeable and helpful. But your
re[ply to my post was a little sharp. I am a senior citizen techie and was just asking how to check on hybrid battery health. I KNOW what I bought
and the potential risk of the ageing out of the hybrid battery. jon

There are apps out there to monitor reaction battery health. Check in the Prius forum. Cant recommend any due to lack of personal experience.
I myself have a 2011 RX450H and would look for the health check if and when the problem appears. Having the app/tool before that time will be a cause of constant consternation for me and that is exactly what I tried to share. ... Enjoy the vehicle once it is in your garage.
Friends? I will gladly retract/edit/change my post. Just send a PM.

PS: I am fallible but always try to be helpful.

The batteries are engineered to last between 10-15 years.
Health is constantly checked by the onboard hybrid ECU.
With that many miles, it’s end of life for the battery. Would be cheaper to purchase a low mileage than high mileage due to this fact.
