Hello all Lexus enthusiasts.
Hello all. I just got my new to me 2012 rx 450h. It’s got 115k miles on the clock. It’s quite a lot considering I’m in Taiwan. I don’t have any previous maintenance records, but it looked too nice to pass up. However, the big HV was changed 2 years ago, and I recently changed the oil, small battery, cvt fluid and rear motor fluid as well. The dealership here changes the fuel pump and spark plugs at 60k miles. Is that an overkill? I am on a budget, but I do plan on changing things in the future. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Aisa and NorthAmerica are different markets but =you should still get a warranty and service manual. If you don't have one ask the local dealership to get you that book. It will list all recommended services and if you want to overachieve, nothing says you can not or should not. Few things are typically different that driving around in NA would be the fuel quality. Here in USA due to environmental concerns the fuel is kept isolated and is much more cleaner than the fuel stored in Asia. [which are typically in an unsealed underground tanks] which gets contaminated by rain water and what ever it brings with it. Other issue is the vehicle are typically used for shorter run. So follow the service recommendation for adverse driving conditions.
One of the items which may or may not be listed would be ecvt fluid change. Although this transmission is different from RX 350, my advice will be to replace it at multiples of 65K miles in North America and 50K miles in Asia.

PS: Taiwan may be an exception from general conditions in Asia.
