It happened to me a few times, and the engine wasn't cold, it was more like I parked the car, then went in for like 5-10 minutes, got in and out the parking lot slowly creeping up, hit the throttle trying to get out to the main road, it felt like car sluggish/slow even rev at 4k +. For 9 months, it's happened like 2 or 3 times, I feel like the system is trying to charge up the battery and cutting off the power to the motors. For example, if you circling around the parking lot long enough, the engine will kick in and rev up to charge the battery, while charging the battery if you wot, the electric motors don't work, or not fully work.

My car is 500h, was built around end of 2023, around 11k miles.
