anybody getting discounts on RX400h?
Anybody already getting 'big' discounts on RX400h?
I saw some dealers having more than a few RX400h sitting on their lots from autotrader.com.

$3,000 discount on 400h
I have seen posts on another forum from buyers in New York, New Jersey and Florida where dealers are giving $3,000 off sticker on 400h's. The post from Florida said that the dealer advertised the $3,000 discount on all 400h's in stock in the newspaper. Sounds like no haggling to me.
On July 1, $1,000 was the typical discount.

I was offered about $1500 off both the 400 and the 330 that I ended up with when I was considering between the 330 and 400 this past Wednesday. The dealer had about 20 of the 400's on the lot. I went with the last 330 they had with navigation. In Arkansas, you have more rural interstate and rural highway driving than city, so the 330 is reported here to get better mileage than the 400 in these circumstances so people aren't snapping them up like they would be in a more urban environment I suppose.

Anyone who's been quoted a discount off the MSRP, please make sure to mention if you're doing a trade. The dealers will slide the profits from one to the other. Your discounts might skew the results of this post.

wow ... you guys get nice discounts, or is it that I am not negotiating correctly?
The best price i've been quoted is $1000 off msrp.
Thats for a 400h with ML and Rear Seat Ent.
Rallye only gave me a few hundred off, and wont talk anymore for a 400h with ML.
and Im not trading in my car, so brand new purchase.
Anyone got more tips for me on how to get the price lower?

I am going to take delivery within ten days. The salesperson (dealer in Columbus) said there's no discount on the RX400h at all as they will just sell whatever is on the lot immediately and because mine is "special order" (heated seat only and no ML and RSES). I think that's bull because if it's a special order that means if I take delivery right the way then they don't have to worry about any inventory cost and the stupid "regional marketing cost".
I don't really need the car, and there are so many other alternatives out there. If I can get the same car for thousands less somewhere else, I am not going to let them rip me off.
Anybody get discount on RX400h in Ohio? BTW, what's the typical auto loan % through Toyota right now with good to excellent credit rating?
