New info on drivetrain...
The 3.5 V6 which is longitudinally mounted will have an electric motor as controller, a planetary gear type CVT and another electric motor/generator for drive output all housed together like a large conventional transmission. The power will then travel back conventionally like a GS430. The new wrinkle will be that the CVT has a low/high range that adds to its performance potential and gas savings. This is a good example of the creativity of the Lexus engineers who are blazing a new trail in design of hybrid powertrains. We expect to get it in May....

Well, I don't think anyone will know for sure at this point (except Lexus), until you get to drive it and see if the meter will go beyond 250 KW.
Besides, it's the real world performance that really matters, & we won't get those stats. until the car is out & tested.

The font of the numbers is simply too large to print them in 25kw increments without making the power meter look terribly crowded. As for the reading below 0, I don't see how that's related to the maximum reading at all. In the end of the day, 275kw simply makes more sense than 250kw since 335hp is barely more powerful than the 306hp gas motor alone, and we all know what Toyota's electric motor is capable of.
