rattle noise from seat belt
One day I was driving alone and noticed there was a rattle noise from front passenger seat. I pulled over to save area and started to look where the noise from. I am expecting I wouldn't hear any rattling noise from Lexus compared my previous MB ML320. Finally I found the problem, and looks like Lexus flaws!!! The seat belt buckle contact with b-pillar, and the problem was the buckle head was too low since the stopper sets low.
When I got home I pulled a clip from unused conference badge and move buckle head up and put clip below it as stopper so buckle head has more room since it stay above the seat. Also is easier to pull/reach than before.
Question now is does anyone know if Lexus knew the problem and will issue a seat belt recall? I will file a complain when my 5000 miles service is up.

I had this problem months ago. It drove me wild. I took it back to the dealer and it turned out that the belt was twisted. They straightened it out and it is fine now. (it was a quick 2 min. fix)

I often have this "twisted belt" problem after my wife has been riding in the car, if the seat belt is twisted after she un-does it. I've had similar problems in other Lexus/Toyota vehicles I've owned. When I hear it, I just reach over a convinient time & flip the belt around so the seat belt retracts a bit, allowing the buckle to lay flat against the pillar.
