Who needs a GS450H! Shoot... My 300 gets 28mpg!!! I just got back from Vegas a couple weeks back and snapped a quick shot.

(j.k about the 450H... that's just my Envy talking outta his ***.... and also a little bit of his brother Jealousy mixed up in there somewhere....)

I've posted in a number of threads that I'm getting almost exactly the same mileage in the 450H as I got int he GS 300. The difference is the 450H gets its mpg's much much quicker.

By the way, when was it 70 degrees in LV? The last weather map I looked at showed closer to 100.

I was already near LA already... It got up to 118 deg!!! I took this snap when it was 111 deg... God it was hot.. Never left the Casino!!!

450h could achieve 28 mpg with a lower average speed, your average speed was 61 mph which is a large majority highway, but as mentioned before its significantly faster

Damn you guys... adding fuel to the fire... I want the 450H so bad now and I'm in complete denial.. my 300 is better!!! hehe.....

I think my only reasoning behind not waiting for the 450H was the trunk space. I had a stereo in my BMW that took up half the trunk and it was such an inconvenience. If I had a SUV/SAV for a secondary vehicle, I might have gone for it. Man congrats to all the 450H owners though. I really am quite envious...

My average MPG is ~21 if I take care of it, but ~18 when I'm romping... significant difference vs the 450H. That 28mpg is a fluke and I only get that maybe once a month during long trips...
