Default Anyone else have a problem with braking?

I'll try to describe this as best as I can. My father has a concern about is 400h and Lexus and the dealer semi acknowledge the problem but he has yet to get anywhere.

When braking down a long hill, before coming to a stop, the motor that reclaims energy appears to release requiring the driver to apply more braking force to stop at the same rate.

Has anyone witness this before?

I had a similar problem; especially when the car wasn't warmed up. It was in the winter. The dealer did something to fix it. However, they couldn't find the problem initially and had to take it for a long drive to feel it.

some of this is because as the battery charges twoards the bottom of the hill, less regeneration is needed and the quality of the braking changes. If you are going down a hill and notice your battery is almost full, you can anticipate this by letting off on the brakes and braking again immediately, you will have full strong brakes, or just pushing harder during the initial brake event.

Lexus acknowledged this but it is dangerous. Not everyone can "anticipate" an issue like this.
